Gosh hullo there! yeah you, dont scare me with those eyes. (waves) Well basically I am not April, proxee here. Ape's already in Manila by the time you are reading this. And Im her sister by the way,the old one,and rotten (include that).
September 05,2004. I can remember April woke up early that day. Broke,no money at all. Prepared her ID's and exam permit. She went to the testing center at MSU-IIT. Hoping she can pass the admission exam for PMA (Philippine Military Academy).
She waited for more than a month for the test result. Finally on October 19,2004,she received a letter from PMA office admission. Congratulating her for passing the first phase. She undergone a two week training. Jogging in the mornings, push ups,arm hang,100 meter run etc. Which luckily paid off.
She reported at V. Luna,Quezon City Manila for the CPE (Complete Physical Exam). She stayed for almost a month there.(November 8-28).
After CPE she had been very excited about the results of the second phase. Unfortunately some time last March, the result was finally out at the PMA official website. She didnt pass the exam.
I was in Iloilo City taking a break when I received a call from her. Crying and a bit frustrated about the result. I was a bit sad. For she was really interested and determined to be one of the PMA cadettes.
Finally when I got home, she was already okay. I was relieved she was.April 5,2005. I received a call from a Lt. from the admission office at Baguio. Informing me April had passed the admission at the academy. The reason for her passing was that her application was reconsidered due to lack of cadettes. Hearing that, I almost jump of the roof. I was so happy. She wasnt around when I got the call. So when she was back at home from somewhere I told her the great news. She was really surprised and went teary eyed....She was jumping her ass off.
April 8,2005. We accompanied her at Cagayan de Oro Airport. Her flight schedule is 11:35 AM. She will be picked up by my uncle there. Then Saturday she will be leaving Manila for Baguio City, where she will be reporting for duty.
